The N 840.3 FT.40.18 is a two-stage pump with an integrated “self-drying” system for automatic conde (more)nsate drain. The “SD” series is widely used in laboratories, especially when the vapors are humid and a clean and ecological vacuum is required. Thanks to the use of anti-corrosion materials, it is possible to vacuum even corrosive products. When the humid gases are sucked in, it can happen that condensation forms in the pump head: consequently the performance decreases, considerably increasing the emptying time.
