This Jouan VXS 570 Laboratory Deep Freezer was removed from a university lab where it was surplus to (more) requirements. The unit powers up and was tested with a digital thermometer. It did reach -84˚C but after opening the door for the probe our thermometer measured -76˚C. The unit is in very good condition but would benefit frmo new door seal due to splits in the top. There is no key for the lock but it is unlocked.

This unit is being sold on behalf of a client in Glasgow. This unit was a special commission inspire (more)d by the Glasgow Transport Museum. It is a unique, bespoke piece of furniture. It is in very good cosmetic condition. It has a very strong well made box section chassis, painted steel legs and the top structure is made of a mixture of woods. There are three good sized lockable drawers on the rear, with keys present. There are cable access points on the tabletops in both sections to allow cables to be run, from underneath, to any equipment that is to be used. The unit could be split into two sections to ease removal. The access to the building for removal is good with large doors and good parking. Viewing of the unit can be made with prior arrangements. This is a heavy item so a van with a tail lift is recommended. We estimate it is around 350 kg. DIMENSIONS :- 351cm (l) x 120cm (w) x 275cm (h). This Thermo Scientific Matrix Hydra II Automated Liquid Handling System was removed from a universit (more)y lab where it was surplus to requirements. The system is in good cosmetic condition with marks from use. All modules power up. We had a service engineer inspect and test this system after setting up and connecting all the electronic connectors but not the pipes. The 1-channel nanofill mechanism was stuck so they took it apart and lubricated it. It's now working fine and can be controlled by the PC. The matrix stage is working fine and can be controlled by the PC but the dispenser is not working. The Hydra pump Module: They have changed the two fan guards with better ones and cleaned the fan. Now they are looking better. This module is working fine and communicates with the PC as normal. We can run test protocols but from time to time we got some error messages. I think that because the fact we have not used any liquid and the system sends feedback when the liquid passed through some parts.
