The COLONIES COUNTER BCC-1 has been developed to do colonies counting tasks in the microbiology fie (more)ld, in a very comfortable and simple way. It consists of a retro-illuminated surface, marked with a Wolfh�egel graticule where the Petri dishes, are placed in order to identify each bacteria colony, through a magnifying lens 2x, adjustable height by a similar system to a toothed rack. Each time that the marker is pressed on the Petri dish the identified colony is marked, one count is registered on the counter, and an acoustic signal (Bip) is generated confirming the count. Metallic painted housing, digital counter up to 9999, with reset control, and provided with a multi-size holder, it allows to place Petri Dishes from 55mm up to 140mm, without any need of accessory centering adaptor.
