The BioTek Cytation 5 Cell Imaging Multimode Reader combines automated fluorescence microscopy with a multimode microplate reader for cell imaging and plate-based assays in a single laboratory platform. The system supports absorbance, fluorescence intensity, and luminescence measurements for applications in cell biology, cancer research, drug discovery, and high-throughput screening.
The Cytation 5 is equipped with laser autofocus and LED illumination at 365 nm, 523 nm, and 590 nm. Included filter sets support common fluorescence workflows:

- DAPI: 377/447, 1225100 Rev I
The integrated BioTek BioSpa 8 Automated Incubator accommodates up to 8 microplates and is designed for automated long-term kinetic studies and time-lapse imaging. Its temperature and CO2 control support controlled live-cell imaging workflows and automated plate handling.
