Product description

Wyatt Technology Möbius DLS and zeta potential analyzer with Wyatt DYNAMICS software, PC, 45 µl cuvette and original accessories.

The Wyatt Technology Möbius DLS and zeta potential analyzer measures particle size, electrophoretic mobility and zeta potential. It supports particle characterization in biotechnology and life sciences laboratories, including protein, nanoparticle, colloid and pharmaceutical formulation analysis.

The unit includes a PC running Wyatt DYNAMICS version 8.1.0.1724. A 45 µl quartz cuvette and original Wyatt cell and sampling components are included. The system combines Dynamic Light Scattering with PALS electrophoretic light scattering.

The instrument is used. The supplied configuration includes the PC, software and original measurement accessories.

Measurement capabilities

The Wyatt Technology Möbius combines two optical measurement techniques:

  • Dynamic Light Scattering, or DLS, for hydrodynamic radius and particle size characterization
  • PALS electrophoretic light scattering for electrophoretic mobility and zeta potential measurement
  • Multi-angle PALS detection through 32 detector channels

The system is suitable for characterization of proteins, nanoparticles, colloids and pharmaceutical formulations. It is also used for particle characterization in biotechnology and life sciences laboratories.

Sample handling and measurement range

  • DLS size range with flow cell: approximately 0.2 nm to 5 µm hydrodynamic radius
  • DLS size range with quartz cuvette: approximately 0.2 to 200 nm
  • Zeta potential particle size range: approximately 2 nm to 50 µm
  • Minimum DLS sample volume: 45 µl
  • Minimum PALS sample volume with dip cell: 65 µl
  • Sample temperature control: 4 to 70 degrees C
  • Laser wavelength: 532 nm

Included configuration

The used unit includes a PC with Wyatt DYNAMICS software version 8.1.0.1724, a 45 µl quartz cuvette and additional original Wyatt cell and sampling accessories. PC communication uses Ethernet.

What these specifications mean

The 45 µl minimum DLS sample volume and 65 µl minimum PALS sample volume support measurements where sample availability is limited. The quartz cuvette and dip cell provide separate sample formats for the two measurement methods.

Temperature control from 4 to 70 degrees C supports particle characterization across controlled sample temperatures. The 32 detector channels support multi-angle PALS detection for electrophoretic mobility and zeta potential measurements.

Why Questpair exists

Lab equipment markets are fragmented. Buyers spend weeks calling distributors, comparing quotes, and verifying supplier reliability. Sellers struggle to reach global research labs.

We built Questpair to fix this. Every supplier on the platform is verified before listing. Every quote you receive comes from a real, vetted seller. AI prepares your case in minutes, then a real specialist takes over.

We're an independent team based in The Netherlands, working with research labs and procurement teams across Europe and worldwide.

Frequently asked questions

How long does laboratory equipment typically last?

With a service contract, ten to fifteen years is normal for most benchtop instruments. Detectors and pumps are the parts that wear first.

Can I get service for older equipment?

Often, yes. Verified suppliers frequently work with service partners converting the instrument. If applicable, we can list servicing options alongside the offer.

Where can I buy parts?

Ask a scientist through the request button. Parts are often available even when the instrument itself is discontinued.

What is the typical lead time for refurbished equipment?

Two to six weeks, depending on refurbishment scope and whether calibration is included.

Does laboratory equipment ship internationally?

We ship to 38 countries. Crating and customs handling are quoted with the instrument.
