Thermo Scientific LTQ Orbitrap Velos with ETD Mass Spectrometer This was removed from a university  (more)lab where it was surplus to requirements. The university said it hadn't worked properly for some time, and on inspection, it had been slightly stripped for parts. We did not power it up to avoid damage to the unit. It is in otherwise good cosmetic condition with marks from use.

Waters Micromass Q-Tof micro Mass Spectrometer This was removed from a university lab where it was s (more)urplus to requirements. The unit powers up but has not been tested further. We have been advised that it will require flushing out before it can be used. It is in good cosmetic condition with minor marks.

Bruker Ultraflex TOF/TOF Mass Spectrometer This was removed from a university lab where it was surp (more)lus to requirements. The unit powers up but has not been tested further at our facility. The unit has some faults as confirmed by the lab On arrival system was in fault mode with 'laser interlock' error. Restarted the laser through marathon control and tested. The laser started to fire but then the high voltage switched off. Tested HV supplies and found that the ISS could only reach 19kv instead of the required 25kv. Suddenly the system started working again and peaks were seen on the sample BUT the system has 2 issues that are intermittent. 1. 30kv supply 2. Laser
