This Perkin Elmer Optima 2100 DV Optical Emission Spectrometer was removed from a university lab whe (more)re it was surplus to requirements. The instrument powers up but we were unable to test it further at our facility. The lab did inform us though, that it was fully working prior to removal. It is in very good cosmetic condition with only minor marks from use.

Bruker Ultraflex TOF/TOF Mass Spectrometer This was removed from a university lab where it was surp (more)lus to requirements. The unit powers up but has not been tested further at our facility. The unit has some faults as confirmed by the lab On arrival system was in fault mode with 'laser interlock' error. Restarted the laser through marathon control and tested. The laser started to fire but then the high voltage switched off. Tested HV supplies and found that the ISS could only reach 19kv instead of the required 25kv. Suddenly the system started working again and peaks were seen on the sample BUT the system has 2 issues that are intermittent. 1. 30kv supply 2. Laser
