Product Description
The ABI Prism 377 DNA Sequencer offers automated DNA molecule analysis, employing multiple fluorescent dyes. Once samples are introduced to the system's vertical gel, they undergo processes such as electrophoresis, laser detection, and further computer analysis. The system facilitates real-time on-screen electrophoretic separation observation and supports output in various formats. To cater to different analytical needs, the 377 sequencer accommodates gel plates in four distinct lengths. It is important to note that the computer and software are not included with this system.
Performance-wise, the system analyzes up to 900 bases with a 98.5% accuracy rate. For production-scale needs, it supports throughput ranging from 24 to 96 samples per day.
