The Leica CTR 6000 TCS SP5 is an advanced laser scanning confocal microscope system, removed from a laboratory where it was no longer needed. The entire system is operational, including the microscope stage and light sources. It features a Leica SP5 confocal with three photomultiplier tubes (PMTs) and two hybrid detectors, alongside an FCCS system with two Single Photon Avalanche Diode (SPAD) detectors. However, the detector filters are beginning to delaminate and should be replaced. The SP5's computer is a newer model, updated to Windows 10, and the system includes a full environmental chamber for precise temperature and CO2 control.
This comprehensive system features components such as the TCS SP5 Control Desk, Microscope, Scan Unit, Leica CTR 6000 Controller, and a CMS Detection Unit with specific serial numbers and part numbers detailed in the inventory. It also includes technological essentials like an updated HP Z4 computer running Windows 10, a cooling fan, and a mercury lamp box, among others.
The microscope is equipped with five high-quality objectives including Leica HCX PL APO lenses and multiple other essential components like twin binocular eyepieces, color filter sets, and environmental control units. The package includes vital software and manuals for efficient operation and user assistance, covering Leica's confocal software and recovery systems.
