The Invitrogen DynaMag™-2 Magnetic Separator (Model 12321D) is engineered for efficient magnetic separation of small sample volumes below 2 mL using various Dynabeads™ with diameters ranging from 1 to 4.5 µm. It features a strong magnetic field optimized for high-efficiency isolation in standard 1.5–2 mL microcentrifuge tubes, accommodating up to 16 tubes simultaneously. The device includes an ergonomic design with a removable upper rack, allowing quick detachment from the magnetic base to enable immediate resuspension, vortexing, rotation, or manual sample mixing without compromising sample control or visibility. This magnetic separator is essential for biotechnology workflows requiring precise magnetic bead separation, including molecular diagnostics, bioprocessing, and synthetic biology research.
