The BIOCHROM WPA Biowave II is a compact, high-performance UV/Visible spectrophotometer specifically designed for life science laboratories. Integrating advanced optics and a user-friendly design, it offers flexible analytical capabilities, ideal for nucleic acid and protein quantification. Key features include a wavelength range of 190–1100 nm, a monochromator with holographic grating, a high-resolution CCD array detector, and a long-life Xenon lamp. It has a graphical backlit LCD for easy visualization and can handle sample volumes as low as 10 μL with quartz cells. Data export is available through USB, an integrated printer, or PVC software. Pre-defined methods support nucleic acids, proteins, and cell culture applications. Suitable for fixed wavelength, multi-wavelength, kinetics, and concentration measurements, the Biochrom WPA Biowave II supports various scientific applications, including nucleic acid quantification, protein assays, cell density measurements, and kinetic studies.
