The Zebra S4M Thermal Label Printer offers versatile label printing with resolutions of 203 dpi (8 dots/mm) and 300 dpi (12 dots/mm). Its robust build supports a maximum print width of 104 mm at 203 dpi and 106 mm at 300 dpi. It efficiently handles bar codes at a modulus of 5 mil to 50 mil for 203 dpi, and 3.3 mil to 33 mil for 300 dpi, and supports programmable constant print speeds ranging from 51 to 152 mm/s.
The printer accommodates various media dimensions, handling label lengths of 17.8 mm minimum (tear off), 12.7 mm minimum (peel off), up to a maximum of 991 mm. It also supports a media width of 19 mm to 114 mm, with a total media thickness ranging from 0.076 mm to 0.25 mm. Additionally, it supports media rolls with a core diameter of 76 mm up to 203 mm, and 25 mm core up to 152 mm, ensuring efficient use of space.
For media type specifics, it accommodates ticket/tag notches of 6 x 3 mm, hole diameters of 3 mm, and features a black mark density beyond 1.0 ODU. The ribbon specs are similarly extensive, with widths from 51 mm to 109 mm and lengths offering a 2:1 or 3:1 media to ribbon roll ratio, with core diameters of 25.4 mm. The device dimensions are 295 x 272 x 477 mm, and it weighs 12.4 kg, suitable for industrial applications and demanding environments.
