Product description

Compact FlashGel system for rapid DNA/RNA analysis with integrated lighting and high-voltage electrophoresis.

The Cambrex FlashGel Dock 57025 is a compact horizontal agarose gel electrophoresis system designed for rapid analysis of DNA and RNA fragments. It is the central dock module of the FlashGel system and supports direct visualization of electrophoresis results at the laboratory bench.

  • Applications: DNA and RNA fragments from 50–4,000 bp
  • Run time: 2–7 minutes
  • Typical operating voltage: Approximately 275 V
  • Maximum high-voltage DC output: 300 V
  • Maximum current: Approximately 50 mA
  • Integrated light source: Approximately 18 V DC
  • Power consumption: <20 W
  • Operating temperature: 15–35 °C
  • Relative humidity: 15–85%, non-condensing
  • Dock dimensions: Approximately 13 × 12 × 5 cm
  • Weight: Approximately 1 kg (2 lb)

The FlashGel Dock uses predefined cassettes containing calibrated agarose gels and dye, minimizing sample preparation, staining, and UV exposure. Its integrated illumination enables direct observation of DNA/RNA bands during or after the electrophoresis run, making it suitable for routine molecular biology checks, rapid screening, biotechnology workflows, and molecular diagnostics research.

This unit is described as being in very good condition and prepared for immediate use. The high-voltage function and integrated lighting have been tested and reported as fully functional.

Why Questpair exists

Lab equipment markets are fragmented. Buyers spend weeks calling distributors, comparing quotes, and verifying supplier reliability. Sellers struggle to reach global research labs.

We built Questpair to fix this. Every supplier on the platform is verified before listing. Every quote you receive comes from a real, vetted seller. AI prepares your case in minutes, then a real specialist takes over.

We're an independent team based in The Netherlands, working with research labs and procurement teams across Europe and worldwide.

Frequently asked questions

How long does laboratory equipment typically last?

With a service contract, ten to fifteen years is normal for most benchtop instruments. Detectors and pumps are the parts that wear first.

Can I get service for older equipment?

Yes. Every verified supplier states which service partners cover the instrument, and we list that alongside the offer.

Where can I buy parts?

Ask a scientist through the request button. Parts are often available even when the instrument itself is discontinued.

What is the typical lead time for refurbished equipment?

Two to six weeks, depending on refurbishment scope and whether calibration is included.

Does laboratory equipment ship internationally?

We ship to 38 countries. Crating and customs handling are quoted with the instrument.
