Product description

Rapid DNA/RNA electrophoresis dock for 50–4,000 bp fragments, with integrated illumination and 300 V output.

The FlashGel Dock 57025 is the central electrophoresis module for the FlashGel system, designed for rapid DNA and RNA fragment analysis at the laboratory bench. It supports fragment sizes from 50–4,000 bp and produces results in approximately 2–7 minutes at a typical operating voltage of 275 V.

  • Uses pre-calibrated agarose gel cassettes with incorporated staining dye
  • Enables direct observation of electrophoresis bands without gel preparation, staining, or UV illumination
  • Integrated light source illuminates the gel during the run
  • High-voltage DC section operates up to 300 V with a maximum current of approximately 50 mA
  • Light source operates at approximately 18 V DC
  • Power consumption: < 20 W
  • Operating temperature: 15–35 °C
  • Relative humidity: 15–85%, non-condensing
  • Dock dimensions: approximately 13 × 12 × 5 cm
  • Weight: approximately 1 kg (2 lb)

This DNA/RNA gel electrophoresis dock is suited to routine nucleic acid quality checks, rapid screening analyses, molecular biology workflows, and biotechnology applications requiring minimal hands-on processing. The listed unit is in very good condition; its high-voltage function and illumination have been tested and are fully operational.

Why Questpair exists

Lab equipment markets are fragmented. Buyers spend weeks calling distributors, comparing quotes, and verifying supplier reliability. Sellers struggle to reach global research labs.

We built Questpair to fix this. Every supplier on the platform is verified before listing. Every quote you receive comes from a real, vetted seller. AI prepares your case in minutes, then a real specialist takes over.

We're an independent team based in The Netherlands, working with research labs and procurement teams across Europe and worldwide.

Frequently asked questions

How long does laboratory equipment typically last?

With a service contract, ten to fifteen years is normal for most benchtop instruments. Detectors and pumps are the parts that wear first.

Can I get service for older equipment?

Often, yes. Verified suppliers frequently work with service partners converting the instrument. If applicable, we can list servicing options alongside the offer.

Where can I buy parts?

Ask a scientist through the request button. Parts are often available even when the instrument itself is discontinued.

What is the typical lead time for refurbished equipment?

Two to six weeks, depending on refurbishment scope and whether calibration is included.

Does laboratory equipment ship internationally?

We ship to 38 countries. Crating and customs handling are quoted with the instrument.
