Product description

Compact horizontal agarose electrophoresis dock for rapid DNA/RNA fragment analysis at up to 300 V.

The Cambrex Flashgel Dock 57025 is the central module of the Flashgel system for rapid DNA and RNA gel electrophoresis. It is designed for direct analysis of DNA/RNA fragments from 50–4,000 base pairs without preliminary gel preparation, staining, or UV illumination.

  • Analysis time: 2–7 minutes
  • Typical operating voltage: 275 V
  • High-voltage DC output: up to 300 V
  • Maximum current: approximately 50 mA
  • Integrated light source: approximately 18 V DC
  • Power consumption: less than 20 W
  • Operating temperature: 15–35 °C
  • Relative humidity: 15–85%, non-condensing
  • Dock dimensions: approximately 13 × 12 × 5 cm
  • Weight: approximately 1 kg (approximately 2 lb)

The horizontal agarose electrophoresis dock uses predefined cassettes with pre-calibrated agarose gels and dye. Its integrated illumination enables direct visualization during the run, supporting routine DNA/RNA controls, rapid screening, molecular biology workflows, and time-sensitive biotechnology laboratory analysis.

The unit is described as being in very good condition, prepared for immediate use. Its high-voltage function and illumination system have been tested and reported as fully functional.

Why Questpair exists

Lab equipment markets are fragmented. Buyers spend weeks calling distributors, comparing quotes, and verifying supplier reliability. Sellers struggle to reach global research labs.

We built Questpair to fix this. Every supplier on the platform is verified before listing. Every quote you receive comes from a real, vetted seller. AI prepares your case in minutes, then a real specialist takes over.

We're an independent team based in The Netherlands, working with research labs and procurement teams across Europe and worldwide.

Frequently asked questions

How long does laboratory equipment typically last?

With a service contract, ten to fifteen years is normal for most benchtop instruments. Detectors and pumps are the parts that wear first.

Can I get service for older equipment?

Yes. Every verified supplier states which service partners cover the instrument, and we list that alongside the offer.

Where can I buy parts?

Ask a scientist through the request button. Parts are often available even when the instrument itself is discontinued.

What is the typical lead time for refurbished equipment?

Two to six weeks, depending on refurbishment scope and whether calibration is included.

Does laboratory equipment ship internationally?

We ship to 38 countries. Crating and customs handling are quoted with the instrument.
