Product description

Integrated real-time cell analysis system with impedance, brightfield, and three-channel fluorescence imaging.

The Agilent xCELLigence RTCA eSight is an integrated real-time cell analysis system combining label-free impedance measurement with brightfield and fluorescence live-cell imaging. It is designed for quantitative cell characterization, proliferation analysis, morphology monitoring, adhesion studies, receptor signaling, immunotherapy and cell-killing assays, and other biotechnology and cell biology workflows.

System Configuration

  • Three cradles for E-Plate 96 impedance measurement or E-Plate View 96 impedance measurement with live-cell imaging
  • Two cradles for additional vessels
  • Compatible labware includes Biosensor E-Plate 96, Biosensor E-Plate View 96, ANSI/SLAS standard 96-well plates, 6-well plates, 35 mm and 60 mm petri dishes, and T25 flasks
  • Includes a computer running eSight Software
  • Includes mouse, keyboard, monitor, power supply cables, and USB communication cable
  • 96-LED brightfield module

Impedance Measurement

  • Test signal: 22 mV rms ± 20% with a maximum 5 mV DC offset at 10 kHz Ω
  • Average impedance measurement speed: 2.88 seconds for E-Plate 96 and E-Plate View 96
  • Impedance measurement accuracy: ± (1.5% + 1 Ω)
  • Impedance measurement repeatability: 0.8%
  • Impedance dynamic range: 10 Ω to 5 kΩ
  • Electronic switch resistance: 2 to 5 Ω

Imaging Specifications

The Agilent xCELLigence RTCA eSight supports high-throughput live-cell imaging and impedance-based cell monitoring for molecular biology, drug discovery, immunotherapy, biotechnology, and biopharmaceutical research. Optional configurations include 5x and 20x objectives and a CO2 incubator.

Why Questpair exists

Lab equipment markets are fragmented. Buyers spend weeks calling distributors, comparing quotes, and verifying supplier reliability. Sellers struggle to reach global research labs.

We built Questpair to fix this. Every supplier on the platform is verified before listing. Every quote you receive comes from a real, vetted seller. AI prepares your case in minutes, then a real specialist takes over.

We're an independent team based in The Netherlands, working with research labs and procurement teams across Europe and worldwide.

Frequently asked questions

How long does laboratory equipment typically last?

With a service contract, ten to fifteen years is normal for most benchtop instruments. Detectors and pumps are the parts that wear first.

Can I get service for older equipment?

Yes. Every verified supplier states which service partners cover the instrument, and we list that alongside the offer.

Where can I buy parts?

Ask a scientist through the request button. Parts are often available even when the instrument itself is discontinued.

What is the typical lead time for refurbished equipment?

Two to six weeks, depending on refurbishment scope and whether calibration is included.

Does laboratory equipment ship internationally?

We ship to 38 countries. Crating and customs handling are quoted with the instrument.
