The VWR STD 1000 Platform Shaker offers microprocessor-controlled precision, making it an excellent choice for various basic mixing applications, including staining techniques and bleaching. This general-purpose laboratory shaker features variable speed control for consistent and uniform shaking, adjustable from 40 to 300 rpm. Its ramping function provides added safety by gradually increasing the speed to the set point. This shaker is designed for continuous use and can operate in environments ranging from 0 to +40 °C with up to 80% relative humidity (non-condensing), making it suitable for use in incubators, CO₂ incubators, or cold stores. The shaker uses a circular motion with a 15 mm amplitude and supports a maximum load of 3.6 kg on its 222 x 299 mm platform. It measures 280 x 430 x 102 mm and weighs 10 kg.
