The BioTek 50TS8M is a compact automated strip washer optimized for 96-well format strip plates, widely used in molecular diagnostics, bioprocessing workflows, and synthetic biology research. Featuring an integrated syringe drive dispensing pump and a patented Dual-Action™ 16-channel manifold, it supports seamless washing of both 384- and 96-well plates without exchange. The system is controlled via a 4.3-inch color touch panel allowing easy program creation and management, with onboard memory for up to 75 unique washing programs including dispense volume and manifold height settings.
Designed for biomedical engineering and molecular biology laboratories, this washer supports precise dispensing volumes from 25 µL to 3000 µL per well, and process speeds under 130 seconds for three cycles on an 8-channel setup. Its maintenance-friendly design includes five built-in maintenance programs to prevent clogging, and the option for automated buffer switching in the V model, filter plate bottom aspiration in the F model, and magnetic particle washing in the M variant, making it versatile for gene editing and molecular diagnostics applications.
