The Edwards E2M18 Vacuum Pump is part of the distinguished EM range of oil-sealed rotary pumps. Renowned for achieving high ultimate vacuum, delivering rapid pumping speed, operating quietly, and handling vapours efficiently, it has set the industry standard for both laboratory and light industrial applications. The pump boasts impressive specifications including a displacement capacity of 20.5 m³/h at 50 Hz and 25.0 m³/h at 60 Hz, with a nominal rotational speed of 1440 rpm at 50 Hz and 1720 rpm at 60 Hz. It achieves an ultimate vacuum of 1 x 10^-3 mbar without a gas purge, and 1.5 x 10^-2 mbar with a purge. The maximum allowable outlet pressure is 0.5 bar, and the maximum inlet pressure for water vapour is 20 mbar, with a maximum water vapour pumping rate of 0.3 kg/h. The oil capacity ranges from 0.75 to 1.05 liters, ensuring efficient, reliable, and seamless operation.
