Product description

Dual-surface heater with ITO glass, ±0.3°C accuracy, for Olympus SZX microscopes, controlled by H401-T-Controller.

This metal-glass thermal plate provides a flat heating surface covering the entire stereo microscope stand. The central glass section includes an Indium Tin Oxide (ITO) coating, ensuring uniform heating across the glass surface. It features a surface sensor for precise temperature measurement. The wide lateral metal surface contains a separate temperature sensor and dedicated heating element, allowing independent temperature control for metal and glass surfaces.

Key specifications:

  • Temperature range: Ambient to 45°C
  • Temperature accuracy: ±0.3°C
  • Compatible microscope stands: Olympus SZX series (SZX2-ILLB, SZX2-ILLK, SZX2-ILLD) and MVX
  • Controller required: H401-T-Controller using both channels (one for glass, one for metal)

---

H401-T-Controller Features:

  • 2-channel independent temperature controller
  • 4.3" touch screen interface
  • Temperature range: Ambient to 60°C
  • Temperature accuracy on specimen: ±0.3°C
  • External temperature sensor included
  • Self-calibration routines for enhanced accuracy
  • Password-protected calibration procedures against certified thermometers
  • Onboard data logging with USB download capability (temperature, calibration, alarms)
  • Alarm buzzer and external alarm connector
  • One controller can manage two heating devices independently

This system enables precise thermal control for microscopy applications, ensuring consistent sample temperature with detailed monitoring and data logging capabilities.

Why Questpair exists

Lab equipment markets are fragmented. Buyers spend weeks calling distributors, comparing quotes, and verifying supplier reliability. Sellers struggle to reach global research labs.

We built Questpair to fix this. Every supplier on the platform is verified before listing. Every quote you receive comes from a real, vetted seller. AI prepares your case in minutes, then a real specialist takes over.

We're an independent team based in The Netherlands, working with research labs and procurement teams across Europe and worldwide.

Frequently asked questions

How long does laboratory equipment typically last?

With a service contract, ten to fifteen years is normal for most benchtop instruments. Detectors and pumps are the parts that wear first.

Can I get service for older equipment?

Yes. Every verified supplier states which service partners cover the instrument, and we list that alongside the offer.

Where can I buy parts?

Ask a scientist through the request button. Parts are often available even when the instrument itself is discontinued.

What is the typical lead time for refurbished equipment?

Two to six weeks, depending on refurbishment scope and whether calibration is included.

Does laboratory equipment ship internationally?

We ship to 38 countries. Crating and customs handling are quoted with the instrument.
