Short runs up to 12 minutes are whisper quiet at an average noise level of 45 dB(A) and maximum RCF of up to 21,300 x g. This is sufficient for centrifugation steps of most routinely used DNA/RNA purification kits. The 5425 also features a wide speed range, with a minimum speed of 100 RPM and a maximum speed of 15,060 RPM.
