The Eppendorf 5424R Refrigerated Microcentrifuge offers precise speed control ranging from 100 to 15,000 rpm, adjustable in 50 rpm increments. It delivers a relative centrifugal force from 1 x g to 21,130 x g, also adjustable in 50 x g increments. Ensuring safety with its maximum kinetic energy of 4,070 J, the centrifuge accommodates cycle times from 30 seconds up to 9 hours and 59 minutes, with an option for continuous operation. The temperature control ranges from -10°C to 40°C, ensuring sample integrity.
This compact unit measures 290 x 480 x 260 mm and weighs 21 kg, making it suitable for a standard laboratory bench. Included is the Eppendorf FA-45-24-11 fixed-angle rotor, with a capacity of 24 x 1.5 mL tubes and a maximum speed of 15,000 rpm. The rotor is complemented by an aerosol-tight lid to prevent contamination, highlighting the device's commitment to safe and reliable operation. Please note the centrifuge requires a 120 V power supply.
