The Biometra TRIO 30 PCR Thermal Cycler offers a block capacity accommodating 3 x 30 x 0.5 mL tubes. It supports a sample volume range of 20 – 200 µL, making it versatile for various applications. The device boasts a maximum heating rate of 4.0°C/s and an average heating rate of 3.6°C/s, ensuring rapid temperature changes for efficient amplification processes. Cooling rates are also impressive, with a maximum of 3.6°C/s and an average of 3.2°C/s.
Temperature uniformity is maintained at ±0.20°C at 55°C within 15 seconds, ensuring consistent results. The device can maintain a standby temperature as low as 4°C, crucial for sensitive reactions. The adjustable temperature range spans from 3 – 99°C, providing flexibility for different experimental conditions. Temperature control accuracy stands at an impressive ±0.1°C, while the lid temperature can be set between 30 – 110°C for optimal sealing of tubes.
