Product description

Waters ACQUITY UPLC I-Class UHPLC system with PDA detector, 190 to 800 nm range, binary solvent manager and MassLynx computer.

The Waters ACQUITY UPLC I-Class UHPLC system is configured for analytical chromatography, including method development, quality control and research applications. Its chromatography platform supports high resolution separations and operation with sub-2 µm columns.

The system includes an ACQUITY I-Class CHA column manager, a Binary Solvent Manager, a Sample Manager FL, and an ACQUITY PDA detector. The Windows 10 computer runs MassLynx software. The Sample Manager FL provides fixed-loop sample injection. The PDA detector provides UV and visible spectral acquisition for peak identification and purity analysis.

The unit is used and was maintained and serviced before sale. The PDA detector dates from 2010. Empower conversion must be completed by the new owner because of license issues.

What these specifications mean

The 1240 bar maximum pressure supports high-pressure UPLC separations with sub-2 µm columns. The system dispersion volume below 100 µL supports sharper peaks by limiting dispersion within the fluid path.

The PDA detector covers 190 to 800 nm and records spectral information across the UV and visible ranges. This supports peak identification and purity analysis in addition to quantitative detection. The binary solvent manager uses high-pressure mixing for binary mobile-phase delivery.

Why Questpair exists

Lab equipment markets are fragmented. Buyers spend weeks calling distributors, comparing quotes, and verifying supplier reliability. Sellers struggle to reach global research labs.

We built Questpair to fix this. Every supplier on the platform is verified before listing. Every quote you receive comes from a real, vetted seller. AI prepares your case in minutes, then a real specialist takes over.

We're an independent team based in The Netherlands, working with research labs and procurement teams across Europe and worldwide.

Frequently asked questions

How long does laboratory equipment typically last?

With a service contract, ten to fifteen years is normal for most benchtop instruments. Detectors and pumps are the parts that wear first.

Can I get service for older equipment?

Often, yes. Verified suppliers frequently work with service partners converting the instrument. If applicable, we can list servicing options alongside the offer.

Where can I buy parts?

Ask a scientist through the request button. Parts are often available even when the instrument itself is discontinued.

What is the typical lead time for refurbished equipment?

Two to six weeks, depending on refurbishment scope and whether calibration is included.

Does laboratory equipment ship internationally?

We ship to 38 countries. Crating and customs handling are quoted with the instrument.
