Product description

Stand-alone CO2 gas transmitter with infrared measurement, alarm LEDs, buzzer, relays, and 4–20 mA output.

The Si Meccos iTr CO2 EV is a stand-alone CO2 gas transmitter and universal gas alarm system for continuous indoor air-quality and carbon dioxide monitoring. It is designed for laboratories, boiler rooms, storage rooms, cellar rooms, workplaces, conference halls, theatres, and restaurants where CO2 accumulation or gas leakage may present a safety or air-quality concern.

Measurement and Detection

  • Measured gas: Carbon dioxide (CO2)
  • Measurement principle: Infrared spectrometry
  • Wavelength: 4.3 µm
  • Light source: Halogen lamp
  • Detector: Pyroelectric LiTa element
  • Optical path lengths: 50 mm, 20 mm, 10 mm, and 1 mm
  • Typical measuring ranges: 0–1, 0–2, 0–5, and 0–100 Vol% CO2
  • Accuracy: ±5% of displayed value
  • Setting time: Less than 30 seconds at 90%; maximum 1 minute at 100%
  • Maximum measuring points: 1

Alarm and Outputs

The CO2 monitor provides direct local indication through four LEDs, an internal buzzer, and integrated relay contacts:

  • Red LED: Main alarm, self-holding; pre-alarm, self-extinguishing
  • Yellow LED: Fault
  • Green LED: Operation
  • Analog output: 4–20 mA, maximum 500 Ω load
  • Relay outputs: Alarm, warning, and fault; opener/closer contacts
  • Maximum relay contact load: 48 V/DC, 20 W
  • Internal alarm device: Buzzer for alarm and fault
  • Control input: Reset button for alarm reset and test triggering

Technical Specifications

This continuous CO2 monitoring transmitter is suitable for laboratory safety, facility air-quality control, and monitoring environments where carbon dioxide levels must be detected with visual, audible, analog, and relay-based alarm signaling. The listed unit is described as being in very good condition and fully functional.

Why Questpair exists

Lab equipment markets are fragmented. Buyers spend weeks calling distributors, comparing quotes, and verifying supplier reliability. Sellers struggle to reach global research labs.

We built Questpair to fix this. Every supplier on the platform is verified before listing. Every quote you receive comes from a real, vetted seller. AI prepares your case in minutes, then a real specialist takes over.

We're an independent team based in The Netherlands, working with research labs and procurement teams across Europe and worldwide.

Frequently asked questions

How long does laboratory equipment typically last?

With a service contract, ten to fifteen years is normal for most benchtop instruments. Detectors and pumps are the parts that wear first.

Can I get service for older equipment?

Often, yes. Verified suppliers frequently work with service partners converting the instrument. If applicable, we can list servicing options alongside the offer.

Where can I buy parts?

Ask a scientist through the request button. Parts are often available even when the instrument itself is discontinued.

What is the typical lead time for refurbished equipment?

Two to six weeks, depending on refurbishment scope and whether calibration is included.

Does laboratory equipment ship internationally?

We ship to 38 countries. Crating and customs handling are quoted with the instrument.
