Product description

Invitrogen ZOOM Dual Power ZP10002 electrophoresis power supply with independent 3500 V high-voltage and 250 V low-voltage outputs.

The Invitrogen ZOOM Dual Power ZP10002 electrophoresis power supply provides independently controlled high-voltage and low-voltage output for electrophoresis applications. The unit supports isoelectric focusing, IPG electrophoresis, SDS-PAGE, DNA and RNA electrophoresis, and electroblotting.

The unit combines separate high-voltage and low-voltage sections in one enclosure. Both sections provide constant and programmable operation and can operate independently. Multiple electrophoresis output connections and an RS-232 interface are included.

This unit is used equipment. The power supply operates from 220 V at 47 to 60 Hz.

The Invitrogen ZOOM Dual Power ZP10002 is an electrophoresis power supply for molecular biology workflows. It combines independently controlled high-voltage and low-voltage sections for different electrophoresis techniques.

  • High-voltage output: Up to 3500 V
  • High-voltage current: Up to 10 mA
  • High-voltage power: Up to 35 W
  • Low-voltage output: Up to 250 V
  • Low-voltage current: Up to 800 mA
  • Low-voltage power: Up to 200 W
  • Operating modes: Constant and programmable
  • Output configuration: Independent high-voltage and low-voltage sections
  • Connections: Multiple electrophoresis output connections
  • Interface: RS-232
  • Power supply: 220 V, 47 to 60 Hz

The high-voltage section is suited to isoelectric focusing and IPG electrophoresis. The low-voltage section supports SDS-PAGE, DNA and RNA electrophoresis, and electroblotting. This used unit includes the integrated dual power supply configuration described above.

What these specifications mean

The dual output configuration separates high-voltage isoelectric focusing and IPG electrophoresis from lower-voltage applications. The high-voltage section reaches 3500 V and 10 mA with up to 35 W. The low-voltage section reaches 250 V and 800 mA with up to 200 W for SDS-PAGE, DNA and RNA electrophoresis, and electroblotting.

Independent operation allows the high-voltage and low-voltage sections to run separately. Constant and programmable modes support either fixed output or programmed electrophoresis protocols.

Why Questpair exists

Lab equipment markets are fragmented. Buyers spend weeks calling distributors, comparing quotes, and verifying supplier reliability. Sellers struggle to reach global research labs.

We built Questpair to fix this. Every supplier on the platform is verified before listing. Every quote you receive comes from a real, vetted seller. AI prepares your case in minutes, then a real specialist takes over.

We're an independent team based in The Netherlands, working with research labs and procurement teams across Europe and worldwide.

Frequently asked questions

How long does laboratory equipment typically last?

With a service contract, ten to fifteen years is normal for most benchtop instruments. Detectors and pumps are the parts that wear first.

Can I get service for older equipment?

Often, yes. Verified suppliers frequently work with service partners converting the instrument. If applicable, we can list servicing options alongside the offer.

Where can I buy parts?

Ask a scientist through the request button. Parts are often available even when the instrument itself is discontinued.

What is the typical lead time for refurbished equipment?

Two to six weeks, depending on refurbishment scope and whether calibration is included.

Does laboratory equipment ship internationally?

We ship to 38 countries. Crating and customs handling are quoted with the instrument.
