Product description

Tested Zeiss LSM 510 VIS confocal scan module with four PMT channels and 2.6 frames/sec scanning.

The Zeiss LSM 510 VIS laser scanning confocal microscopy module is a tested point-scanning system for confocal fluorescence imaging, reflected-light microscopy, and transmitted-light detection. It uses two individually driven galvanometric scanners for controlled raster scanning and supports up to four detection channels simultaneously.

Technical Specifications

  • Scanning speed: Up to 2.6 frames/sec at 512 × 512 pixels
  • Field resolution: Up to 2048 × 2048 pixels, individually adjustable for each axis
  • Field of view: 10 × 10 mm² with a 1.25× objective
  • Zoom: Continuous 1× to 8× control
  • Channels: Up to 4 channels simultaneously
  • Detection:
  • 4 confocal reflection/fluorescence channels with PMT detectors
  • 1 transmitted-light channel with a PMT detector
  • 1 reference monitor diode
  • Dynamic range: 12-bit DAC for each detection channel
  • Pinholes: 4 individual variable pinholes, one for each confocal channel
  • Alignment: Computer-controlled automatic alignment
  • Part number: 45 30 02
  • Serial number: 850658

The LSM 510 VIS module is suitable for confocal fluorescence analysis, cellular imaging, biomedical research, and molecular biology workflows requiring multi-channel optical sectioning. It is supplied in good cosmetic condition and has been reported as 100% functional tested.

Included Items

  • Zeiss LSM 510 VIS scan module
  • LSM 510 instruction manual in PDF format

Why Questpair exists

Lab equipment markets are fragmented. Buyers spend weeks calling distributors, comparing quotes, and verifying supplier reliability. Sellers struggle to reach global research labs.

We built Questpair to fix this. Every supplier on the platform is verified before listing. Every quote you receive comes from a real, vetted seller. AI prepares your case in minutes, then a real specialist takes over.

We're an independent team based in The Netherlands, working with research labs and procurement teams across Europe and worldwide.

Frequently asked questions

How long does laboratory equipment typically last?

With a service contract, ten to fifteen years is normal for most benchtop instruments. Detectors and pumps are the parts that wear first.

Can I get service for older equipment?

Yes. Every verified supplier states which service partners cover the instrument, and we list that alongside the offer.

Where can I buy parts?

Ask a scientist through the request button. Parts are often available even when the instrument itself is discontinued.

What is the typical lead time for refurbished equipment?

Two to six weeks, depending on refurbishment scope and whether calibration is included.

Does laboratory equipment ship internationally?

We ship to 38 countries. Crating and customs handling are quoted with the instrument.
