Product description

HAAKE PK 100 cone and plate viscometer accessory for temperature-controlled viscosity and rheology measurements of pastes, resins and polymers.

The HAAKE PK 100 cone and plate measuring system is a rotational viscometer accessory for viscosity and rheology measurements of firm, paste-like and high-viscosity materials. It is used with compatible HAAKE rotational viscometers, including HAAKE Viscotester systems.

This unit includes the MP60 lower measuring plate. It requires interchangeable cone geometry and a compatible HAAKE viscometer drive unit. An external circulator or thermostat bath connects to the unit for temperature-controlled measurements. The measuring cones, viscometer drive unit and external circulator are not included unless stated separately.

The unit is used and supplied as pictured. Functional operation requires a compatible HAAKE viscometer and suitable cone geometry. Software and additional accessories are not included.

The HAAKE PK 100 is a cone and plate measuring system for rotational viscosity and rheology measurements. It handles small sample volumes of firm, paste-like and high-viscosity materials.

Configuration

  • HAAKE PK 100 measuring unit
  • MP60 lower measuring plate
  • Stainless steel and metal construction
  • Connection for an external circulator or thermostat bath
  • Ø 8 mm circulator connection
  • Pt100 measuring plate temperature sensor connection
  • Interchangeable cone geometries required
  • HAAKE viscometer drive unit not included
  • Measuring cones not included unless stated separately
  • External circulator not included
  • Software and additional accessories not included

Applications

The system is suitable for viscosity and flow behaviour measurements of:

  • Pastes
  • Resins
  • Coatings
  • Printing inks
  • Polymers
  • Food products
  • Chemicals
  • Other semi-solid samples

The unit is compatible with HAAKE rotational viscometers and HAAKE Viscotester systems. ISO 3219 characteristic values are referenced for comparable cone and plate measurement results. This used unit is supplied as pictured.

What these specifications mean

The MP60 lower measuring plate and the required interchangeable cone geometry define the measuring interface. Both the plate and cone must match the compatible HAAKE viscometer configuration for cone and plate viscosity measurements.

Temperature control uses an external circulator or thermostat bath. The Ø 8 mm circulator connection and Pt100 measuring plate temperature sensor connection support controlled measurement temperature. ISO 3219 characteristic values are referenced for comparable cone and plate measurement results.

Why Questpair exists

Lab equipment markets are fragmented. Buyers spend weeks calling distributors, comparing quotes, and verifying supplier reliability. Sellers struggle to reach global research labs.

We built Questpair to fix this. Every supplier on the platform is verified before listing. Every quote you receive comes from a real, vetted seller. AI prepares your case in minutes, then a real specialist takes over.

We're an independent team based in The Netherlands, working with research labs and procurement teams across Europe and worldwide.

Frequently asked questions

How long does laboratory equipment typically last?

With a service contract, ten to fifteen years is normal for most benchtop instruments. Detectors and pumps are the parts that wear first.

Can I get service for older equipment?

Often, yes. Verified suppliers frequently work with service partners converting the instrument. If applicable, we can list servicing options alongside the offer.

Where can I buy parts?

Ask a scientist through the request button. Parts are often available even when the instrument itself is discontinued.

What is the typical lead time for refurbished equipment?

Two to six weeks, depending on refurbishment scope and whether calibration is included.

Does laboratory equipment ship internationally?

We ship to 38 countries. Crating and customs handling are quoted with the instrument.
