Technical Sales Specialist

About this role

At Questpair, we’re building Europe’s number one marketplace for lab equipment. To help us scale, we’re looking for a Technical Specialist with hands-on experience in laboratory equipment — someone who understands the needs of researchers and labs and can bridge technical knowledge and commercial success.

You’ll be the technical expert who helps laboratories worldwide access the equipment they need to drive scientific innovation. Every interaction you have directly impacts research projects and scientific discoveries.

Hybrid: at least 3 days per week in the ’s-Hertogenbosch office.

What you’ll do

1. 01Support the sales team with technical expertise, ensuring clients get the right equipment for their research.
2. 02Advise clients on equipment compatibility, specifications, and value propositions based on laboratory workflows.
3. 03Reach out to potential clients and grow our network of laboratories, research institutions, and biotech companies.
4. 04Collaborate across sales, marketing, and operations in a dynamic startup environment.
5. 05Stay current with emerging laboratory technologies and market trends.
6. 06Help refine the platform with technical insights that improve the researcher experience.

What you bring

• 4+ years of hands-on experience working with or selling/purchasing laboratory equipment.
• Strong communication and client advisory skills — you can translate technical concepts into business value.
• Entrepreneurial mindset; you thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.
• Excellent English for our international client base.
• Commitment to the hybrid work model (at least 3 office days per week).
• Legal authorisation to work in The Netherlands.
• Bonus: scientific background (MSc/PhD in life sciences, chemistry, physics, or related).
• Bonus: experience with analytical instruments, microscopy, life science equipment, or other specialised lab technologies.
