Product description

Xcellerex XDM single-use mixer with 100 L polypropylene vessel, sloped bottom, and 10 to 200 rpm Groschopp AC motor drive.

The Xcellerex XDM single-use mixer is a bioprocess mixer for combining buffer, media, intermediates, product and other process fluids. It also handles liquids, powders, solutions and suspensions.

This unit has a 100 L polypropylene mixing vessel with cube geometry and a sloped bottom for full drainability. A Groschopp AC motor drives the agitator with run, stop, forward, brake and reverse functions at 10 to 200 rpm.

The unit is used, tested and in good operational condition. It comes from a closed pharmaceutical laboratory in the Netherlands.

Xcellerex XDM single-use bioprocess mixer

This used Xcellerex XDM mixer is configured for single-use processing of liquids, powders, solutions, suspensions and process fluids.

  • Volume: 100 L
  • Vessel material: Polypropylene
  • Geometry: Cube with sloped bottom for full drainability
  • Agitator: Groschopp AC motor
  • Motor drive: Run, stop, forward, brake and reverse
  • Speed range: 10 to 200 rpm
  • Weight: 70 kg

The single-use mixer is intended for bioprocessing applications involving buffer, media, intermediates and product. Its single-use design avoids cleaning-in-place and steam-in-place procedures, as well as cleaning validation. The unit is used, tested and in good operational condition.

What these specifications mean

The sloped-bottom vessel supports full drainability, which suits process-fluid handling where residual material needs to be removed from the vessel.

The single-use configuration avoids cleaning-in-place and steam-in-place procedures and does not require cleaning validation. The polypropylene construction provides chemical resistance for cold and hot processes.

Why Questpair exists

Lab equipment markets are fragmented. Buyers spend weeks calling distributors, comparing quotes, and verifying supplier reliability. Sellers struggle to reach global research labs.

We built Questpair to fix this. Every supplier on the platform is verified before listing. Every quote you receive comes from a real, vetted seller. AI prepares your case in minutes, then a real specialist takes over.

We're an independent team based in The Netherlands, working with research labs and procurement teams across Europe and worldwide.

Frequently asked questions

How long does laboratory equipment typically last?

With a service contract, ten to fifteen years is normal for most benchtop instruments. Detectors and pumps are the parts that wear first.

Can I get service for older equipment?

Often, yes. Verified suppliers frequently work with service partners converting the instrument. If applicable, we can list servicing options alongside the offer.

Where can I buy parts?

Ask a scientist through the request button. Parts are often available even when the instrument itself is discontinued.

What is the typical lead time for refurbished equipment?

Two to six weeks, depending on refurbishment scope and whether calibration is included.

Does laboratory equipment ship internationally?

We ship to 38 countries. Crating and customs handling are quoted with the instrument.
