PerkinElmer Geliance 600 bio-imaging system with cooled 1.4 MP CCD for fluorescence, chemiluminescence and gel imaging.
The PerkinElmer Geliance 600 bio-imaging system is a fluorescence and chemiluminescence imaging platform for DNA, RNA and protein gels, Western blots, membranes and fluorescent biological samples. It supports gel documentation, nucleic acid imaging and protein analysis in molecular biology workflows.
The unit includes the Geliance 600 enclosed light-tight imaging cabinet, internal imaging chamber, camera and optics housing, sample stage and illumination platform. Its cooled CCD camera captures fluorescence and chemiluminescence signals. Software, PC, filters and additional accessories are not included.
The used unit has been power on tested. Full functional testing was not performed because the original software is unavailable. The instrument is supplied in its current configuration and as pictured. Returns are accepted if the instrument is found to be malfunctioning.
The Geliance 600 is a used bio-imaging system for fluorescence and chemiluminescence applications. It is configured for imaging:
Software, PC, filters and additional accessories are not included. The unit is supplied as pictured.
The fluorescence and chemiluminescence imaging modes cover both fluorescent stains and light-producing detection methods such as ECL and chemiluminescent Western blot imaging. The sample formats include gels, blots and membranes, matching the stated gel documentation and protein analysis applications.
The cooled CCD camera is suited to faint luminescence and fluorescence signals. Its 16-bit capture specification supports image acquisition across the stated bio-imaging applications.
Lab equipment markets are fragmented. Buyers spend weeks calling distributors, comparing quotes, and verifying supplier reliability. Sellers struggle to reach global research labs.
We built Questpair to fix this. Every supplier on the platform is verified before listing. Every quote you receive comes from a real, vetted seller. AI prepares your case in minutes, then a real specialist takes over.
We're an independent team based in The Netherlands, working with research labs and procurement teams across Europe and worldwide.
With a service contract, ten to fifteen years is normal for most benchtop instruments. Detectors and pumps are the parts that wear first.
Often, yes. Verified suppliers frequently work with service partners converting the instrument. If applicable, we can list servicing options alongside the offer.
Ask a scientist through the request button. Parts are often available even when the instrument itself is discontinued.
Two to six weeks, depending on refurbishment scope and whether calibration is included.
We ship to 38 countries. Crating and customs handling are quoted with the instrument.
Tell us what you need and a scientist finds it for you, usually within the hour.
