This Qiagen QIAcube Nucleic Acid Purification System was removed from a university lab where it was  (more)surplus to requirements. The unit powered up and we were able to run some pre-set programs. It ran these tests well. The lab has confirmed that it was functional prior to removal. We ran a centrifuge program for 3 minutes which ran smoothly and we ran a shaker program for 1 minute which ran smoothly. It is in good cosmetic condition with minor marks from use. This Beckman Coulter Biomek NXp Laboratory Automation Workstation was removed from a university lab  (more)where it was surplus to requirements. The unit appears to pretty much fully work. We have homed the axis and run a basic set of commands with it. We have a video of this working. The Tiploader appears to be faulty as it is not accepting commands from the PC. We have verified that the cable/air and PC are communicating with the Tiploader, by connecting a known working unit to the PC. This Don Whitley Scientific miniMACS Anaerobic Workstation was removed from a university lab where i (more)t was surplus to requirements. The unit has been looked at by a qualified service engineer. The pump works from the main socket but not from the instrument socket. They cleaned the filter which was previously making the pump run loudly. They repaired the fans which were previously broken. They have tested the cabinet with a vacuum pump and it seems it is holding the vacuum. Although one piece of plexiglass holding the right door lock is broken. The system holds a vacuum despite this. The temperature was tested up to 37˚c, it took about an hour to reach this. It is in reasonably good cosmetic condition but has some minor marks from use and the aforementioned crack.

This Laser Quantum Finesse & FPU 35 Power Supply was removed from a university lab where it was  (more)surplus to requirements. The power supply powers up. There is no umbilical cable included so we tested it with one from a working unit. We were unable to power the laser up.
