The Invitrogen PowerEase 500 Power Supply offers a versatile output range, with voltage from 1 to 500 V, current from 1 to 500 mA, and wattage from 0.1 to 50 W, all with precise stepping capabilities. It features automatic crossover upon reaching set limits and ensures high accuracy with voltage, current, and wattage maintained within ± 2%. To enhance reliability, it has < 1% drift over 8 hours after a 30-minute warm-up under constant supply voltage. The power supply is equipped with comprehensive circuit protection, including open circuit, short circuit, thermal protection, and over-protection for voltage, current, and wattage. Safety is prioritized with load detection, thermal shutoff (via an optional temperature probe), and isolated floating ground. Its memory can store custom methods up to 24 hours, with a non-volatile design and control via an RS232C computer interface. The compact design measures 165 x 180 x 205 mm and weighs 2.9 kg, adding ease of integration into any laboratory setup.
