Product description

24L vacuum drying oven with PID control, stainless steel chamber, 10–200 °C range, max vacuum 133 Pa, inert-gas interface.

The BEING BOV-20 Vacuum Oven is a compact, benchtop vacuum drying oven designed for controlled drying of heat-sensitive, oxidizable, or decomposable materials under reduced pressure. Featuring a 24 L (0.9 cu ft) corrosion-resistant stainless steel chamber, it operates within an ambient +10 °C up to 200 °C temperature range, maintaining ±0.5 °C stability and ±1 °C uniformity at 100 °C by means of 4-sided jacket heating.

Equipped with a PID temperature controller and a digital timer (1–5999 min), the oven ensures precise thermal management essential for molecular diagnostics, bioprocessing workflows, and synthetic biology research requiring gentle solvent removal or sample drying under vacuum as low as 133 Pa.

Additional features include:

  • Vacuum interface for connection to an external pump (sold separately) supporting safe and stable vacuum drying
  • Silicone-sealed tempered glass door with observation window for monitoring samples without breaking vacuum
  • Inert-gas interface with solenoid valve enabling controlled inert atmosphere drying, crucial for sensitive biotechnological or chemical samples
  • Adjustable shelves supporting up to 20 kg each (2 included, expandable to 5) for flexible sample processing capacity
  • Comprehensive safety systems encompassing over-temperature limit controls, vacuum monitoring, and alarms

The BEING BOV-20 Oven is widely adopted in biomedical engineering and biopharmaceutical production pipelines for its precise thermal and vacuum control, durability, and compact footprint, making it ideal for laboratory-scale bioprocessing, gene editing sample preparation, and live-cell imaging sample drying applications.

Why Questpair exists

Lab equipment markets are fragmented. Buyers spend weeks calling distributors, comparing quotes, and verifying supplier reliability. Sellers struggle to reach global research labs.

We built Questpair to fix this. Every supplier on the platform is verified before listing. Every quote you receive comes from a real, vetted seller. AI prepares your case in minutes, then a real specialist takes over.

We're an independent team based in The Netherlands, working with research labs and procurement teams across Europe and worldwide.

Frequently asked questions

How long does laboratory equipment typically last?

With a service contract, ten to fifteen years is normal for most benchtop instruments. Detectors and pumps are the parts that wear first.

Can I get service for older equipment?

Often, yes. Verified suppliers frequently work with service partners converting the instrument. If applicable, we can list servicing options alongside the offer.

Where can I buy parts?

Ask a scientist through the request button. Parts are often available even when the instrument itself is discontinued.

What is the typical lead time for refurbished equipment?

Two to six weeks, depending on refurbishment scope and whether calibration is included.

Does laboratory equipment ship internationally?

We ship to 38 countries. Crating and customs handling are quoted with the instrument.
