The Grass Technologies PS33-Plus Photic Stimulator is a refurbished laboratory device that offers high precision in delivering photic stimulation. The unit comes with a 6-month warranty, excluding the light bulb, ensuring reliability and support. This package includes a photic stimulator, a photic arm, a roll stand, a table clamp, and a user manual for comprehensive usability.
The PS33-Plus features consistent flash characteristics with accurate stimulus parameters, enabling wide application usage through its extensive intensity range. The device supports variable flash rates, accommodating a range of experimental needs. Synchronous inputs and outputs allow for simplified interfacing with other devices using TTL signals.
Technically, the stimulator offers both single and repetitive flash modes, with intensity adjustable in five steps. Flash intensity reaches up to a maximum of 22 lumen sec/ft², and rates range from 1 to 60 flashes per second with a ±5% accuracy. The flash duration is 10 µS, powered by a xenon flash tube.
Operationally, the device is certified for 115 or 230 VAC power and can function within temperatures of 0 to 40°C under specific humidity settings. The sturdy build measures 9.75" W x 5.375" H x 8.1875" D and weighs 12 lbs, supporting ease of handling and positioning.
