Product description

20L short path distillation kit with flasks, Graham condenser, adapters, thermometers, and lab jack for thermal separation.

Short path distillation (molecular distillation) is a thermal separation process designed for heat-sensitive products. The equipment minimizes thermal stress through short residence time and low evaporation temperatures, allowing gentle distillation. This kit excludes the heating mantle shown in demonstration photos.

Kit components:

  • 1 × 20L flat-bottom 2-neck boiling flask with 24/40 standard taper (ST) joints
  • 1 × 500mm Graham condenser with 24/40 ST joints
  • 1 × QuickFit FR1L/3S/22A 3-neck 1000mL round-bottom flask with one vertical 24/29 center neck and two angled 19/26 side necks
  • 1 × Stainless-steel laboratory jack, platform size 6" × 6", full height 10.5"
  • 1 × Corning PYREX 8980-24 3-way 75° connecting adapter with thermometer opening
  • 1 × Corning PYREX 9020-24 3-way 120° connecting adapter
  • 2 × Fisherbrand 14-997 thermometers covering -20°C to 110°C
  • 1 × WP support stand with finger clamp, rod height 23"
  • 1 × Shur-Safe (Cenco) 12445-602 cork ring, outer diameter 140mm

Why Questpair exists

Lab equipment markets are fragmented. Buyers spend weeks calling distributors, comparing quotes, and verifying supplier reliability. Sellers struggle to reach global research labs.

We built Questpair to fix this. Every supplier on the platform is verified before listing. Every quote you receive comes from a real, vetted seller. AI prepares your case in minutes, then a real specialist takes over.

We're an independent team based in The Netherlands, working with research labs and procurement teams across Europe and worldwide.

Frequently asked questions

How long does laboratory equipment typically last?

With a service contract, ten to fifteen years is normal for most benchtop instruments. Detectors and pumps are the parts that wear first.

Can I get service for older equipment?

Often, yes. Verified suppliers frequently work with service partners converting the instrument. If applicable, we can list servicing options alongside the offer.

Where can I buy parts?

Ask a scientist through the request button. Parts are often available even when the instrument itself is discontinued.

What is the typical lead time for refurbished equipment?

Two to six weeks, depending on refurbishment scope and whether calibration is included.

Does laboratory equipment ship internationally?

We ship to 38 countries. Crating and customs handling are quoted with the instrument.
