Product description

Ohaus VXMNDG: Precise, versatile vortex mixing for labs needing gentle or high-speed sample prep.

OHAUS VXMNDG Mini Vortex Mixers are designed for reliable, gentle, and high-speed mixing, catering to a variety of laboratory applications. Offered in four configurations—fixed speed, analog, digital, and pulse—these mixers provide tailored solutions for your mixing needs. The Fixed Speed model offers an economical option for vigorous, one-touch mixing suitable for repeatable tasks. The Analog model allows for adjustable speed with marked graduations, ideal for applications where precise repeatability is not required. The Digital model features an intuitive LED display for precise speed and time control, ensuring consistent, repeatable results. The Pulse model introduces pulse action to minimize heat generation, enhancing cell mixing and fractionation.

These mixers operate in both tactile and continuous modes, with mixing activated by a simple press of the cupped head or through the use of various accessories. The robust construction ensures stability during operation. Digital and analog configurations allow for effective speed management, from low-rpm gentle shaking to high-speed vortex actions. Designed for resuspension of fluids, reagent mixes, ELISA tests, and sample preparations, these mixers are indispensable in any laboratory setting. The digital version features independent LED displays for concurrent viewing of speed and time.

The unit includes a detachable three-wire cable and plug, and all models come with a versatile 7 cm accessory platform, accommodating beakers, flasks, and test tubes. The pulse model supports 12 stainless steel microtubes. With integrated chip control on digital models, the set speed is reliably maintained for constant mixing. Why Questpair exists

Lab equipment markets are fragmented. Buyers spend weeks calling distributors, comparing quotes, and verifying supplier reliability. Sellers struggle to reach global research labs.

We built Questpair to fix this. Every supplier on the platform is verified before listing. Every quote you receive comes from a real, vetted seller. AI prepares your case in minutes, then a real specialist takes over.

We're an independent team based in The Netherlands, working with research labs and procurement teams across Europe and worldwide.

Frequently asked questions

How long does laboratory equipment typically last?

With a service contract, ten to fifteen years is normal for most benchtop instruments. Detectors and pumps are the parts that wear first.

Can I get service for older equipment?

Yes. Every verified supplier states which service partners cover the instrument, and we list that alongside the offer.

Where can I buy parts?

Ask a scientist through the request button. Parts are often available even when the instrument itself is discontinued.

What is the typical lead time for refurbished equipment?

Two to six weeks, depending on refurbishment scope and whether calibration is included.

Does laboratory equipment ship internationally?

We ship to 38 countries. Crating and customs handling are quoted with the instrument.
