This LaboratoryVacuum pump is very quiet - the noise level is only ~54 dB. It has a small footprint, durable, and chemical resistant! The pump is virtually maintenance-freebecause of the PTFE coated surfaces, PTFE membrane, stainless steel valves andoil-free design. TheSTORM3000 is equipped with a 1/7 hp motor and provides a maximum 20 L/min(115V/60Hz) of free air displacement and 22 in-Hg of maximum vacuum. The pumpfeatures a vacuum regulator with gauge to adjust and monitor vacuum level. Theinlet catch-pot protects from accidental ingestion of water and particulates.It is resistant to bleach and acetone vapors allowing it to be used with cellculture decontamination protocols.
