Used MVC3000 cabinet, condition fair, needs a filter, ready for lab use.
The Foster + Freeman MVC3000 is an advanced fingerprint fuming cabinet that was recently removed from a university laboratory, having outlived its immediate utility there. The unit efficiently powers on, offering a functional exterior and performs a 5-minute Mini Purge process, following which the electronic door can be operated. However, upon startup, the system signals a 'Filter Fault' due to a missing filter, restricting further testing. To ensure full functionality, a filter installation is necessary. The cabinet features a generous interior space with a shelf measuring 74 x 58 cm, along with two baskets each measuring 57 x 30 x 15 cm, and an additional spacious area of 75 x 64 x 32 cm under the main working space. With its model number MVC3000 and bearing serial number 3175, this equipment is primed for precise forensic applications, pending filter installation.
Lab equipment markets are fragmented. Buyers spend weeks calling distributors, comparing quotes, and verifying supplier reliability. Sellers struggle to reach global research labs.
We built Questpair to fix this. Every supplier on the platform is verified before listing. Every quote you receive comes from a real, vetted seller. AI prepares your case in minutes, then a real specialist takes over.
We're an independent team based in The Netherlands, working with research labs and procurement teams across Europe and worldwide.
With a service contract, ten to fifteen years is normal for most benchtop instruments. Detectors and pumps are the parts that wear first.
Often, yes. Verified suppliers frequently work with service partners converting the instrument. If applicable, we can list servicing options alongside the offer.
Ask a scientist through the request button. Parts are often available even when the instrument itself is discontinued.
Two to six weeks, depending on refurbishment scope and whether calibration is included.
