The Ohaus Guardian 3000 series comprises Digital Magnetic Hotplate Stirrers, designed for safety, efficient mixing, and rapid heating across diverse laboratory settings. Applications: Suitable for boiling liquids, preparing water/oil baths, sample and solution preparation, dissolving buffers and reagents, media preparation, and sample concentration. Display: The backlit LCD provides temperature and speed readings, with green lights indicating active heating and stirring, a prominent hot top indicator, and icons for probe usage and Single Point Calibration. Operation: Supports stirring speeds from 80 to 1600 rpm, with a temperature range from ambient +5°C to 500°C (ceramic top) or 380°C (ceramic-coated steel top). Includes a power cord and PTFE-coated stir bar for stirring models. Construction: Features durable metal housing, a PET front panel, control knobs, a separate on/off switch for heater disconnect, a built-in support rod holder, and user-friendly ceramic or ceramic-coated stainless steel tops that are easy to clean.
