The SBS Colony Counter BCC-1 is expertly crafted for accurately counting colonies in microbiology with ease and efficiency. It features a retro-illuminated surface with the Wolfhügel graticule, allowing precise identification of bacterial colonies on Petri dishes, enhanced by a 2x magnifying lens with adjustable height via a rack-and-pinion system. Each identified colony, once marked, is registered on the digital counter through a simple press, with an acoustic signal confirming each count. The metallic-painted housing boasts a digital counter capable of counting up to 9999 and comes with a reset control. The versatile multi-size holder accommodates Petri dishes ranging from 55mm to 140mm without the need for an accessory centering adapter. Users can also choose between a dark or light background with a simple control knob, enhancing visibility for precise counting.
