The Ohaus Frontier 5306 is designed to minimize noise and interruptions in the laboratory environment. It features a low input voltage power source, a silent brushless motor, and a rubber base that effectively absorbs vibrations, ensuring operations are discreet and smooth.
Safety is a priority with this model, equipped with a rotor imbalance sensor and two safety switches that immediately halt operation if the lid is inadvertently left open, promoting operator safety.
Designed for ease of use, simply place your samples in the centrifuge, close the lid, and it begins operation without the need for button presses.
The kit includes two rotor types for versatile application: an angled 8 x 1.5/2.0ml rotor and an angled rotor for 4 x 8 PCR strips, handling a maximum relative centrifugal force of up to 2,560 g at a maximum speed of 6,000 rpm. It supports a maximum flow rate for rotor operation of 8 x 1.5/2.0 ml.
