Product description

Round water bath with 7.6L capacity, temperature range 5°C above ambient to 95°C, ±1.5°C control accuracy.

The Advantec TBS241RA is a round laboratory water bath designed for precise temperature control within the 5°C above ambient to 95°C range. Featuring a stainless steel SUS304 bath and SUS316L pipe heater delivering 1.2 kW power, it ensures consistent heating with a temperature control accuracy of ±1.5°C at 60°C. The unit has a water capacity of approximately 7.6 liters with inner dimensions of 240 mm diameter by 170 mm height, and outer dimensions measuring 310 mm width, 400 mm depth, and 215 mm height. Safety features include overheat prevention and overcurrent protection via fuses. The temperature controller uses a liquid expansion system. This water bath is suitable for biotechnological applications requiring stable thermal environments such as molecular diagnostics, bioprocessing workflows, and biomedical engineering research. Note that stirring functionality is not integrated, and temperature distribution accuracy is ±1°C with external stirring. This is a used unit sold as-is with possible deviation from original performance.

Why Questpair exists

Lab equipment markets are fragmented. Buyers spend weeks calling distributors, comparing quotes, and verifying supplier reliability. Sellers struggle to reach global research labs.

We built Questpair to fix this. Every supplier on the platform is verified before listing. Every quote you receive comes from a real, vetted seller. AI prepares your case in minutes, then a real specialist takes over.

We're an independent team based in The Netherlands, working with research labs and procurement teams across Europe and worldwide.

Frequently asked questions

How long does laboratory equipment typically last?

With a service contract, ten to fifteen years is normal for most benchtop instruments. Detectors and pumps are the parts that wear first.

Can I get service for older equipment?

Often, yes. Verified suppliers frequently work with service partners converting the instrument. If applicable, we can list servicing options alongside the offer.

Where can I buy parts?

Ask a scientist through the request button. Parts are often available even when the instrument itself is discontinued.

What is the typical lead time for refurbished equipment?

Two to six weeks, depending on refurbishment scope and whether calibration is included.

Does laboratory equipment ship internationally?

We ship to 38 countries. Crating and customs handling are quoted with the instrument.
