High-performance ICP-MS with autosampler, refrigerated chiller, and vacuum pump for trace metal and molecular diagnostics.
The *PerkinElmer NexION 300Q* is a robust Inductively Coupled Plasma Mass Spectrometer (ICP-MS) designed for precise trace metal analysis and molecular diagnostics applications in biotechnology, pharmaceutical, and environmental research. This assembled system includes the S10 Autosampler for automated sample introduction and the PolyScience WhisperCool refrigerated chiller to maintain optimal plasma conditions and system stability. The Sogevac SV40BI rotary vane vacuum pump ensures reliable vacuum operation critical for high-sensitivity ion detection.
Key features and components include:
The system was purchased in 2013, used intermittently for pharmaceutical excipient trace metal detection, and maintained annually by PerkinElmer with the last service conducted in October 2023. Routine performance verification and calibration protocols were followed, ensuring consistent analytical accuracy crucial in molecular diagnostics and biomanufacturing pipelines. Decommissioned in August 2025 due to low usage and end-of-service life.
This configuration is widely adopted in clinical diagnostics, environmental monitoring, and biotechnology research, offering reliable elemental analysis necessary for gene editing validation, bioprocessing quality control, and synthetic biology applications. Note: Instrument PC and software license are not included.
Lab equipment markets are fragmented. Buyers spend weeks calling distributors, comparing quotes, and verifying supplier reliability. Sellers struggle to reach global research labs.
We built Questpair to fix this. Every supplier on the platform is verified before listing. Every quote you receive comes from a real, vetted seller. AI prepares your case in minutes, then a real specialist takes over.
We're an independent team based in The Netherlands, working with research labs and procurement teams across Europe and worldwide.
With a service contract, ten to fifteen years is normal for most benchtop instruments. Detectors and pumps are the parts that wear first.
Often, yes. Verified suppliers frequently work with service partners converting the instrument. If applicable, we can list servicing options alongside the offer.
Ask a scientist through the request button. Parts are often available even when the instrument itself is discontinued.
Two to six weeks, depending on refurbishment scope and whether calibration is included.
We ship to 38 countries. Crating and customs handling are quoted with the instrument.
Tell us what you need and a scientist finds it for you, usually within the hour.
