Product description

Stand-alone CO2 gas transmitter using infrared spectrometry for continuous air quality and gas leak monitoring.

The Si Meccos iTr CO2 EV Monitor is a stand-alone gas transmitter designed for continuous monitoring and optimal control of indoor air quality. It is applied primarily for selective and continuous detection of gases such as CO2, CH4, and combustible gases in various environments like laboratories, heating rooms, storage areas, and cellars.

Key features include:

  • Selective measurement of CO2, CH4, and combustible gases using infrared spectrometry
  • Measurement wavelength: 4.3 µm
  • Light source: Halogen lamp
  • Detector: Pyroelectric LiTa element
  • Optical path lengths: 50 mm, 20 mm, 10 mm, and 1 mm selectable
  • Typical measuring ranges for CO2: 0–1%, 0–2%, 0–5%, and 0–100% by volume
  • Accuracy: ±5% of displayed value
  • Response time: <30 seconds (90% time), max. 1 minute (100% time)
  • Operating temperature range: +3 to +40 °C
  • Display: 4 LEDs indicating alarm, warning, operation, and fault status
  • Internal audible alarm (summer) for alarms and faults
  • Three integrated relays for alarm, warning, and fault contacts (normally open/closed) with max contact load 48 V/DC, 20 W
  • Analog output: 4–20 mA (max. 500 Ohm load)
  • Control input: Reset/test button for alarm dismissal and test triggering
  • Maximum one measurement point per device
  • Electrical supply: 18–26 V DC with ripple < ±100 mV
  • Maximum power consumption: 25 W
  • Enclosure protection rating: IP56
  • Dimensions (L×W×H): 165 × 82 × 90 mm
  • Weight: max. 0.5 kg

The transmitter can be installed directly in hazardous areas such as boiler rooms, storage, or workplaces where gas leaks could endanger human life or where maintaining optimal air quality is essential. Alarms for concentration breaches are visualized on the device through two alarm LEDs, an internal buzzer, and the relay outputs for external signaling or system integration.

Scope of supply:

  • Si Meccos iTr CO2 EV Monitor Gas Transmitter Universal Gas Alarm System

The device is reported to be in excellent condition and fully operational.

Why Questpair exists

Lab equipment markets are fragmented. Buyers spend weeks calling distributors, comparing quotes, and verifying supplier reliability. Sellers struggle to reach global research labs.

We built Questpair to fix this. Every supplier on the platform is verified before listing. Every quote you receive comes from a real, vetted seller. AI prepares your case in minutes, then a real specialist takes over.

We're an independent team based in The Netherlands, working with research labs and procurement teams across Europe and worldwide.

Frequently asked questions

How long does laboratory equipment typically last?

With a service contract, ten to fifteen years is normal for most benchtop instruments. Detectors and pumps are the parts that wear first.

Can I get service for older equipment?

Often, yes. Verified suppliers frequently work with service partners converting the instrument. If applicable, we can list servicing options alongside the offer.

Where can I buy parts?

Ask a scientist through the request button. Parts are often available even when the instrument itself is discontinued.

What is the typical lead time for refurbished equipment?

Two to six weeks, depending on refurbishment scope and whether calibration is included.

Does laboratory equipment ship internationally?

We ship to 38 countries. Crating and customs handling are quoted with the instrument.
