The Beckman Coulter TA-10-250 is a fixed angle rotor with a 25º tilt, crafted from durable aluminum. This rotor facilitates the precipitation of up to 1.5 liters of bacterial cultures, accommodating either six flat-bottom bottles of 250 ml each or six tubes of 50 ml. It is specifically designed for compatibility with the Allegra 25R and TJ-25 centrifuges.
This rotor model is optimized for delivering high G-forces, supporting applications that demand speeds up to 15,300 g. It is particularly suited for the sedimentation of substantial quantities of cells and cell particles extracted from tissue homogenates. Moreover, its design accommodates short column techniques—such as partially filled tubes—allowing for the effective purification of large quantities of viruses using cushion gradients.
