The Pacific Biosciences PacBio RS II System was carefully removed from a laboratory where it was no longer in use. Before its removal, the system was fully operational. An engineer from Pacific Biosciences meticulously prepared the unit for extraction, including the disassembly of its cladding. During this process, some cables between the main unit and the environmental chamber were cut. The included blade server has been wiped, necessitating a software reinstallation for full usage recovery. Although the nameplate indicates 'PacBio RS', the front cladding and laboratory references affirm it as the RS II model. Restoring the unit to operational status may require effort; however, its component parts represent significant monetary value, notably the high-cost camera unit. All original parts remain intact within the system.
