The Bellingham + Stanley Eclipse Refractometer is a precision tool designed to measure refractive indices within the 45-80 Brix range. This optical refractometer, model 45-82, comes in original packaging, ensuring pristine condition and performance. It offers a resolution of 0.2 Brix and requires a sample volume of less than 1 microliter. Constructed with glass for the prism and aluminum for both the prism housing and body, its durability is further complemented by a 3 mm thick rubber covering. The eyepiece is aluminum as well, adding to its robust design. With a body diameter of 35mm and an IP65 protection index, it is built to withstand challenging environments. This refractometer is particularly suitable for the analysis of jams, marmalades, fruit pulps, and sugar syrups, making it an indispensable instrument for the food and beverage industry.
