This Olympus BX40F-3 Microscope was removed from a university lab where it was surplus to requiremen (more)ts. The unit is in reasonable used cosmetic condition but it does have various marks, scratches and signs of general use. The lamp adjustment slider is snapped off but it can still be operated if you put something thin in the hole(ie small flat screwdriver). Please let us know if this is a major problem for you - we may be able to complete a repair or source a replacement. The microscope has been tested using one of our slides and it appears to work well with all fitted objectives. This Antec Scientific Alexys 100 LC-EC System was removed from a university lab where it was surplus (more) to requirements. All the modules power up but have not been tested further at our facility. You can also feel the well block heating up. The well block is 96 hole. The system includes: 1 x Agilent Stratagene MX3000P. (various marks from use)1 x Dell Optiplex755 PC with keyboard & mouse.1 x Monitor. (various marks from use)1 x VGA Cable.1 x RS232 Cable. The PC is running a fresh install of Windows 7. Installed is a copy of Stratagene MxPro - Mx3000P v4.10 build 389.The software will control the Mx3000P unit. We have run a basic heat cycle with it and verified that the lamp will turn on & off. The item turns on and is in good condition with only minor signs of use. When the device started up, it ran into an error with code 7033. The error message warned that the clock timer was not set, and we needed to select the "set_time" option from the user settings. We tried to dismiss the warning by pressing the OK button, but the touchscreen did not respond. Unfortunately, this meant we were unable to perform any further testing. Due to this item is sold as Spares/Repairs.
