Product description

Inverted fluorescence microscope with DAPI, FITC and RHOD filters, DFC3000 G camera and 5×–40× objectives.

The Leica DMi8 is an inverted research fluorescence microscope configured for cell biology, live-cell imaging, immunofluorescence and phase contrast studies. This system combines fluorescence imaging hardware, digital image acquisition and Leica LAS X Core software for laboratory microscopy workflows in biotechnology, biomedical research and molecular diagnostics.

Included configuration

  • Microscope stand: Leica DMi8 inverted research microscope
  • Objectives:
  • HI PLAN 5×/0.10 PH0
  • HI PLAN 10×/0.25 PH1
  • HI PLAN I 20×/0.30 PH1
  • HC PL FLUOTAR L 40×/0.60 CORR PH2
  • Fluorescence filter cubes: DAPI, FITC and RHOD
  • Camera: Leica DFC3000 G high-resolution fluorescence camera
  • Fluorescence light source: Leica EL6000
  • Control unit: Leica CTR compact
  • Software: Leica LAS X Core software license

The 5×, 10×, 20× and 40× objective range supports multi-scale imaging of cultured cells, tissue samples and fluorescence-labeled specimens. DAPI, FITC and RHOD filter cubes enable common nuclear, green-fluorescence and red-fluorescence imaging applications.

The Leica DFC3000 G camera supports digital fluorescence image acquisition, while the EL6000 light source provides the fluorescence illumination system. The included LAS X Core license completes the imaging workstation for research microscopy and image analysis workflows.

Why Questpair exists

Lab equipment markets are fragmented. Buyers spend weeks calling distributors, comparing quotes, and verifying supplier reliability. Sellers struggle to reach global research labs.

We built Questpair to fix this. Every supplier on the platform is verified before listing. Every quote you receive comes from a real, vetted seller. AI prepares your case in minutes, then a real specialist takes over.

We're an independent team based in The Netherlands, working with research labs and procurement teams across Europe and worldwide.

Frequently asked questions

How long does laboratory equipment typically last?

With a service contract, ten to fifteen years is normal for most benchtop instruments. Detectors and pumps are the parts that wear first.

Can I get service for older equipment?

Yes. Every verified supplier states which service partners cover the instrument, and we list that alongside the offer.

Where can I buy parts?

Ask a scientist through the request button. Parts are often available even when the instrument itself is discontinued.

What is the typical lead time for refurbished equipment?

Two to six weeks, depending on refurbishment scope and whether calibration is included.

Does laboratory equipment ship internationally?

We ship to 38 countries. Crating and customs handling are quoted with the instrument.
